WHERE TO STAY IN THE PRIVATE ISLANDS OF ZANZIBAR
Guests looking to stay in a mid-range private island accommodation for a part duration of their AfricanMecca trip to Zanzibar can opt for the Tier 2 Chumbe Island Coral Park. The island has just 7 pastoral eco-bungalows, each offering easy access to the doorstep marine park for snorkeling.
Operating on sustainable principles, the bungalows each has two stories with the daybeds and lounge on the lower floor and bedrooms on the higher. You can choose from bungalows with either twin or double beds where African motifs and traditional rural touches create a pleasing coastal ambience to reside in.
Chapwani Island, a Tier 3, is another private island lodge where you can stay that covers just twelve acres of space. This island has 10 economy rooms for guests on their beachfront holiday in this part of East Africa. The rooms are housed in 5 bandas that have two apportioned rooms each. Families and honeymooning couples can stay at the Sunset Villa that has spacious living areas and mini pool that only the occupants of the villa can use. White walls and palm thatch roofs create an agreeable ambience for the resort.

The Zanzibar Stone Town tour guide was superlative. He was outstanding and gave us undivided attention. We felt that was great value and to be escorted round the market place and slave stations was like walking in a living museum.

We have returned from our African adventure and would like to thank you very much for your part in making this such a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to time the Great Migration from the Serengeti, which was amazing.
Denise Paterson - Belmont, Australia
Ras Nungwi was a beautiful property, the pristine white beach not more than forty feet from our lovely room, the Indian Ocean sublime. Raza, it was the vacation of a lifetime, again, thanks so much.

You may optionally extend out to offbeat parks in Southern and Western Tanzania such as Nyerere (Selous), Ruaha or Katavi ending with a chimpanzee trekking safari at Gombe or Mahale by the relaxing Lake Tanganyika.
