What We Like About Mila Tented Camp
- Mila Tented Camp is designed with the upmarket, premier client in mind who desires a private reserve experience.
- This is a small, exclusive camp that serves a maximum of 14 guests in six tents including a two-bedroom family tent.
- The camp operates in a spectacular location with unique geological and botanical elements that work as centerpieces for guest meals and sundowners. It also offers a range of activities i.e. day and night game drives, walking safaris, authentic cultural visits, optional fly camping overnights.
- Mila Tented Camp is open throughout the year, and is located only 15 minutes from Mwiba Airstrip.
- Guests are assigned a private guide and exclusive use of safari vehicle. Game activities are done in the private Mwiba Wildlife Reserve in southern Serengeti.
Things To Note When Staying At Mila Tented Camp
- Because the camp allows children of ages 8 and above, it may not be the best option for guests who prefer a small and intimate adult-oriented accommodation.
- There is an extra charge for the fly camping activity.
- Mila is not the best option to stay in when the wildebeest migration is not present in southern Serengeti.
- Mwiba Wildlife Reserve was formerly a hunting reserve that is now turned into a photographic reserve. Wildlife can be skittish due it former history; though, wildlife viewing is improving every year in the private reserve.
- This is a premier luxury accommodation, so prices are on the higher side.
