The central section of Serengeti National Park offers AfricanMecca guests varied safari experiences, from witnessing the massive herds of the seasonal Great Wildebeest Migration to watching large felines stalk their prey throughout the year. Ole Serai Luxury Camp offers guests a choice of three distinct camps in Central Serengeti. The first camp, branded as Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Moru Kopjes, is just a few meters from a spot along the Mbalageti-Seronera River between the Rongai and Nyaroboro Hills.
The second camp, branded as Ole Serai Luxury Camp - Turner Springs, is set on the border of three water catchments, around 17 km from the park headquarters and airstrip. The picturesque location is surrounded by desirous acacia trees that provide wild tranquility amid grazing herbivores and stalking carnivores. The third camp is branded as Ole Serai Luxury Camp - Seronera and located 14km from Seronera Airstrip in the heart of Central Serengeti. It’s a spectacular location atop the slopes of Makoma Hills with views of the Makoma-Seronera Plains — an area known for large populations of cheetahs - as well as Thatch Kopjes, which is home to a well-known pride of lions.
Ole Serai Luxury Camps at Moru Kopjes, Turner Springs, and Seronera are deluxe accommodations for your trip to explore East Africa. The sites of the camps ensure that you have 180-degree views of the flora and fauna for which Serengeti is known worldwide. Ole Serai Luxury Camps include facilities such as a spa, library, and a small shop for African souvenirs and other sundries that you may need during your outback travels. Ole Serai Luxury Camps secure electricity from solar energy and use a backup generator when necessary. Guests can access free WiFi in the main lounges, and laundry service is available at an extra charge.

At each of Moru Kopjes and Turner Springs, 20 guest tents are available with several sleeping configurations, including 14 double tents and 4 twin tents, each measuring 45 square meters, as well as an interconnecting family tent that measures 105 square meters. Seronera offers 9 guest tents. All of the rooms are done up in pleasing tones of muted beige, ecru, and olives. Each tent stands on a raised wooden platform and offers the yesteryear safari ambiance thanks to a chandelier hanging from the canvas ceiling, thick rugs on the floor, and plush sofas covered with leather. Mirrors and a desk and chair add to the quaint yet elegant charm.Begin each day of your mesmerizing wildlife safari holiday by awakening to the savannah plains of Tanzania, outstretched just beyond your bed. Have a cup of tea or coffee in the comfort of your tent, and then find a cozy place on the private verandah to listen to the echoes of wildlife awakening to the dawn. You are well-rested and ready for the day’s adventure, thanks to the comfortable memory foam mattress.
