1. Cape Town City Tour
Depending on weather conditions being just right, you will be riding the cable car ride to the top of the iconic Table Mountain. This trip marks the first step of your tour around Cape Town. Next, you will have the opportunity to visit the oldest structure in South Africa, namely the Castle before you go on to explore the Company Gardens. Beautifully and carefully preserved, these gardens have an air of history about them. The bygone era follows you as you view the Parliament Buildings while driving along. You will also catch glimpses of City Hall and the Slave Lodge. Your next stop is at the Malay Quarter of Bo-Kaap where you will marvel at the cobblestoned lanes and the vibrant, brilliant colors of the facades of the little houses that line these streets. End your trip with a visit to a local diamond cutter where you can watch them cut and polish gems to perfection.

2. Cape Point Tour
Experience stunning vistas as you travel along Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak Drive, the Cape of Good Hope Section of the famous Table Mountain National Park and the Boulders Beach to view the penguin colony. Complete your excursion at the bygone naval base of Simon’s Town.
Your tour of Cape Point takes you to Hout Bay through Millionaires Paradise where you can view some of the most luxurious residences in Cape Town and perhaps, spot well-known figures at Clifton Beach and Camps Bay. The road winds around the cliffs with hairpin bends of Chapman’s Peak offering you superb vistas over the ocean. Soon, you will reach the Table Mountain National Park section of the Cape of Good Hope. Its uneven and craggy landscape has an enduring beauty that you can enjoy photographing before making your way to the Boulders Beach to see the African Penguin colony. Your journey will then proceed to Simon’s Town where you will have time to explore this bygone port that was once a naval post.

3. Peninsula Tour
Experience a lovely drive along Cape Town’s Peninsula from Millionaire’s Paradise, Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, Seal Island, Chapman’s Peak, Table Mountain Park, Simon’s Town, Boulders Beach to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (summer) or Groot Constantia (winter).
Go on a drive along the Peninsula of Cape Town, beginning at Millionaire’s Paradise that will take you from Clifton to Camps Bay. Next, you will reach Llandudno, a beautiful residential locale before you can optionally undertake a cruise to Seal Island (paid directly). This island is a small outcropping of Cape granite and inhabited by thousands of Cape fur seals and numerous nesting birds. Resume your drive along the Chapman’s Peak and follow the hairpin bends to Table Mountain National Park. You can stop for lunch (paid directly) at the Cape of Good Hope Section of the park before going on to Simon’s Town. Arrive at Boulders Beach, one of the few locations in the world to host the endangered African penguins. Your tour will include a trip to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (summer season) where you can spend time enjoying the outdoors and perhaps, tea, scones or at the Groot Constantia (winter season) where you can go exploring the wine cellars and taste some of the fine wines produced there.

4. Twin Winelands Tour
Experience the beauty of the countryside around Cape Town where acres of vineyards produce lovely wines. Travel to Franschhoek, view Huguenot Monument, Helshoogte Mountain Pass and Stellenbosch before returning to Cape Town.
As you explore the regions just outside of Cape Town, you will step into a world of mesmerizing natural beauty where the sun shines over acres of vineyards that produce the most succulent of grapes from which the finest wines are created. You will be enveloped in history as you explore the cellars that stock the wines and learn about how the processes that turn the grapes to wines. Begin your tour at the quaint town of Franschhoek or the French Corner as it is also called where you will be enjoying a delicious gourmet meal (paid directly). Admire the superb Huguenot Monument before you travel through the lofty Helshoogte Mountain Pass with its stunning vistas. You will soon come to the lovely town of Stellenbosch with its authentic Dutch architecture where schools and its namesake university are located. Visit a fine art gallery, shop at boutique stores or simply enjoy a walk in the oak-lined streets with its little houses. You will visit two distinct estates for wine tasting and perhaps, buy a bottle or two just as you are leaving for Cape Town.

5. A Day Safari From Cape Town
Experience the thrill of the wilderness aboard a safari vehicle. Drive through picturesque wine estates and Klein Karoo to reach Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve. Go on a game drive, enjoy lunch and time around a pool or campfire.
Your wildlife viewing tour will begin with a two and a half hour drive through picturesque vistas. Before you reach the Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve, you will be passing through scenic wine estates and Klein Karoo. On your arrival at the reserve, you will be served refreshments to welcome you. Soon afterward, you will leave for a thrilling game drive aboard specially fitted safari vehicles. With directions from the expert ranger accompanying you and the aid of a pair of binoculars, you could spot predators like the lion and cheetah, and herbivores like springbok, rhino, zebra, giraffe, and buffalo. Also, look out for baboons, warthogs, ostriches and many other animals that you can enjoy taking pictures of. The game drive should take about two to three hours of wondrous sightings and exploring the flora before it is time to get back to the lodge. On your return, you will be served a lovely buffet-style lunch. Depending on the season, you can spend the last leg of your tour beside the pool during a warm day or around a cozy fire during a cool winter day.

6. Franschhoek Winelands Cycle Tour
Experience a treat for the senses with a mountain cycling tour of the vineyards in Franschhoek Valley. Take in the glorious vistas of the villages, mountains, and wine estates, breathe in the aromas, eat a fine lunch and sip on delicious wines.
Your wine tasting tour begins with your guides talking to you and familiarizing you with the experiences you are about to have. You will be cycling along to the breathtakingly lovely wine growing estates in Franschhoek or the “French Corner.” This little village is marked by lofty mountains and seemingly endless gardens of luscious grape-bearing vines. Together they weave an unforgettable spell of enchantment around you. The vistas are accompanied by the aromas and tastes of delicious wines that you will be savoring, overall, resulting in a treat for the senses. Between sips of the delicious wine, you cannot help but marvel at the ingenuity of humans that can create such treasures when combined with the gifts of nature. As you follow the dirt tracks of the winelands aboard your bike, you will realize that this is possibly the best way to explore the backwaters of Cape Town. You can choose to spend either half or the entire time riding along, stopping at each of the five estates, tasting the wines and perhaps, visiting the cellars. Add a bit of chocolate tasting and then sit down for an excellent gourmet lunch in between your cycling.

7. Heritage Cycle Tour In Cape Town
Experience the sights, sounds and aromas of Cape Town with a bicycle tour. This journey will take you from V&A Waterfront through Beach Road, Company Gardens, Long Street, Bo-Kaap to Tobago’s Bar & Terrace.
One of the most exciting ideas to explore a new city is astride a bike. Take in the smiles and waves from the people, spot little interesting sights and breathtaking vistas, breathe in the aromas and protect the environment, all at once. Your bicycle tour of Cape Town will begin at the well-known Radisson Blu Hotel at the V&A Waterfront as the morning or evening sets in. Pick the route to Beach Road where the ocean caresses the shore on one side and the archetypal Green Point Stadium stands at the other. The road will then take you to the Company Gardens that house the National Gallery, Parliament and other buildings of renown. As you reach Long Street, you will be able to spot the many bars and cafes that line the street. And, when the aroma of Malay curry tempts your taste buds, you will know that you have reached Bo-Kaap. Revel in the sights of mosques and vibrantly colored homes before you leave for Tobago’s Bar & Terrace. If on an evening tour, you will see the sun slips below Table Mountain on the west, bathing Table Bay in the stunning colors of gold and red.

8. Hermanus Whales & Wine Tour
Experience the thrill of watching whales up close with a tour to Hermanus. Go wine tasting at the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and then drive past the apple estates of Elgin and Sir Lowry’s Pass before returning to Cape Town.
Your tour will be initiated with a scenic drive along the shores with breathtaking vistas of the ocean beside you and perhaps, sightings of whales blowing spouts in the water. This drive will take you to Hermanus, a little fishing village where you could optionally take a boat out (paid directly) for a closer view of the whales under the direction of an expert guide. Enjoy watching these gentle giants as they frolic with members of their pod before you return to the village for a delightful lunch. The next leg of your tour will take you to the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley also called Heaven and Earth where you can explore a vineyard and sample the many high-grade kinds of wine, each richer in flavor than the next. You will travel back to Cape Town through Elgin, a lovely town with many apple-growing estates, and enjoy the superb natural panoramas of Sir Lowry’s Pass before returning to Cape Town. It is recommended that you come prepared with the appropriate clothing and sun protection for your time in the boat. If you tend to get seasick, do make the proper arrangements beforehand. Note on Sundays, the vineyard is closed to visitors. This tour only operates during the whale season from July to November.

9. Stellenbosch Winelands Tour

Established in 1679, Stellenbosch is a lovely town sited at a picturesque short drive from Cape Town. Visit this hamlet and you will be enchanted by the quaint Dutch architecture and the oak-lined streets with houses, cafes and restaurants, fine art displays, boutiques, and so much more. Located amidst sprawling vineyards and the highland nature reserves of Simonsberg and Jonkershoek, this town has history interwoven into its old-world charm. As you explore Stellenbosch, you will have the time to take a lesson in winemaking before embarking on a tour of the cellars. Taste the wine and savor the richness of nature’s bounty even as you revel in the romance of the mountainous landscape’s beauty all around you.

10. Sunset Champagne Cruise Tour
Experience spectacular sunsets in the world with a champagne cruise. The trip begins at the Harbor at the V&A and goes on to Table Bay, Milnerton Lighthouse, Granger Bay in the shadow of Table Mountain and ending at the Waterfront.
Thanks to its location on the Western Cape of South Africa, Cape Town offers you views of some of the most spectacular sunsets all over the world that you definitely must not miss. As the golden sun slips below the distant horizon, it lights up the ocean in dazzling colors of red and orange. The sheer beauty evokes romance and awe, and when you have a glass of sparkling wine in hand, the experience is incredibly beautiful and memorable. Begin your cruise by setting out from the V&A Harbor and sailing around Table Bay until you reach the Milnerton Lighthouse. The cruise continues onwards towards Granger Bay before moving into the shadow of the lofty Table Mountain. Spend time here reveling in the vistas around you before returning to the Waterfront. This entire cruise takes about 90 minutes to complete. Kids are permitted to accompany their families but do keep in mind that this activity has been designed keeping adults in mind.

11. Sunset Dinner By The Beach

12. Walk To Freedom & Robben Island Tour
Experience life of a native South African before apartheid was abolished with a tour of District Six Museum, Langa Township, local bazaars, Arts and Crafts Center, Gugulethu, Khayelitsha and a cruise tour to Robben Island.
The Walk to Freedom Tour takes you on a journey back into the past where you will retrace the steps South Africa made before finally instituting democracy. Begin your tour at the enthralling District Six Museum. Do plan your trip on a weekday from Monday through Saturday, since the museum is closed on Sundays. The next section of your trip will take you to the Langa Township that is the oldest housing complex in Cape Town where apartheid was once practiced. Explore the local bazaars and the Arts and Crafts Center where you can view intricate artifacts and handicrafts. Before you leave, you can visit the traditional healer and learn about some ancient techniques for curing ailments. Take time to experience life in the town with a tour of a local bed and breakfast establishment and a daycare center where kids can spend time in a safe environ. A trip to Gugulethu and Khayelitsha is yet another locale where you can peek into Cape Town township lifestyles. In the afternoon, you will cruise to Robben Island for a tour. This is the infamous island where Nelson Mandela and other freedom fighters were imprisoned for 18 long years.
