What We Like About Mountain Gorilla View Lodge
- Provides easy accessibility to the Volcanoes Park being located in Kinigi near the main entrance at a short 15-minutes’ driving distance.
- Constructed on eco-friendly principles using naturally available materials sourced from local areas.
- Very helpful and friendly staff. They add personal touch to the experience e.g. from bedtime hot water bottles to cleaning muddy shoes.
- Picturesque location. Offers holidaymakers superb vistas of the Karisimbi Mountain and lush greenery of the park.
- Affordable accommodation with spacious rooms.
Things To Note When Staying At Mountain Gorilla View Lodge
- Large value lodge in Rwanda that caters to up to 60+ guests during peak season months.
- Offers 30 rooms in all and thus lacks the intimate boutique experience.
- Food served is normally buffet-style, and the quality could be better.
- The facilities need upgrading to keep up with the competition.
- Service at busy times can be variable.
