Angama Mara takes its name from the Kiswahili word, ‘Angama' which means ‘hanging in mid-air'. True to its name, it sits over the edge of the Great Rift Valley in south-western Kenya. Angama Mara comprises of two divided camp areas with a total of 30 tents (15 tents in each site), four of which are interlinked and suited for families bush traveling in Africa. Three children of 12 years and below can share a room, and one of the tents is specially equipped for the comfort of disabled guests.
