Located in a private concession bordering Masai Mara National Reserve is Cottar's 1920s Camp, a premium accommodation that offers 10 extravagant guest tents. The camp is situated in part of the 6000 acres Olderkesi Conservancy with no fence structures. The setting exceeds the expectations of even the most discerning guest who is seeking a luxurious, exclusive African safari experience.

Each guest tent is superbly sited on the property to ensure the utmost seclusion and peacefulness, as well as breathtaking views from your private verandah. Inside you find a soothing color palette of crisp white, golden wood tones, ecru and taupe accented by splashes of jade green and chocolate brown. The en-suite bathroom features a rain shower, single-vessel vanity, towel racks, mirror and other special touches to make you feel at home.



While many of our couple and solo guests are quite comfortable in one of the five double tents, the camp also offers four family suites that are excellent for parents that are traveling with two or three children, as well as close-knit friends who want to stay together. The benefit of the larger family tent is that it has a living area with fireplace.

Should you have communication needs, though, wireless internet is available in limited areas of the accommodation, and guests may use the satellite telephone for a supplemental fee. Cell phone service is not available in the camp but may be available approximately one kilometer from camp.

For dinner, you may join other safari vacationers in the dining tent or join your sweetie for an intimate, private dinner for two under the twinkling African skies. Next morning, you can partake an optional aerial safari on a 16 passenger balloon flight taking off before sunrise.
