Unforgettable & Amazing Family Safari In Tanzania

My family had an unforgettable, amazing time in Tanzania. We traveled there to celebrate my father’s 70th birthday, and I can honestly say that choosing to go with AfricanMecca was among our many blessings of the trip. I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone considering an African safari. Raza and Altaf really went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that we were well taken care of from beginning to end.

The difference was in evidence from the first phone call. We had considered several safari companies, and of the ones we spoke to AfricanMecca was by far the friendliest, most attentive, and most eager to help us personalize the experience and get the most out of our safari. We also found their prices very reasonable in comparison.

Over many rounds of patiently and very responsively fielding questions from myself and other family members (we were traveling as a group of ten people, including two young children, so we had lots of questions), Raza helped us pick out an itinerary customized to our particular preferences, the budget we were working with, and the time of year we were traveling.

Raza and Altaf are natives of East Africa, and with their intimate knowledge of the wildlife landscape there, they were able to steer us in a direction that I believe greatly improved the quality of our trip. Everyone in my family was also very impressed by the level of detail with which Raza answered our every question and addressed our every little concern, and they were also very flexible in helping us make multiple changes to our itinerary.

We were all impressed with how the preparation for our trip was handled, but still it was surpassed by our experience on the ground. We spent our evenings in a series of gorgeous camps and lodges with great service, great food, and very friendly staff. AfricanMecca had arranged for two very knowledgeable, very competent guides to be our drivers for the week, and the two of them led us from one incredible sight to the next.

One final thing to mention is that my partner and I had to leave the trip early due to an emergency back home. AfricanMecca also helped us immeasurably with that, arranging for emergency regional transportation so that we could get to a major airport and back home as quickly as possible. We are also very grateful to Serengeti Pioneer Camp for their help with that.

So thanks again to Raza and AfricanMecca for really going above and beyond for us on this trip from start to finish. I could not recommend them more!
