Fantastic Time In Kenya. AfricanMecca Will Be Top Of My List

We had a fantastic time in Kenya and thank you all at AfricanMecca for making that possible! Voi Lodge was nice and the wildlife around there amazing! We saw several Lions, many Elephants, Buffalo, Giraffe, Gazelle’s and many many more. Although the accommodation was basic, the lodge itself was very pleasant and the staff there very friendly and attentive. Satao Camp was out of this world!!

I am so glad that you recommended it as it was the true safari experience! The tents was complete luxury, the food excellent (the best we had in Kenya) and again the staff were amazing. In fact, we met Marketing Director whilst we were there and told him what a great time we were having and that we’d booked through AfricanMecca.

Whilst the wildlife wasn’t as plentiful as at Voi, the waterhole did have plenty of visitors and some resident Hippo’s!! And we couldn’t believe that we kept the same guide and Land Rover after my parents left! The vehicle was fantastic compared to the other transport we saw around the park and our guide, Alex, was truly professional and extremely knowledgeable. In fact, we’d told some new arrivals about the fantastic time we were having with the vehicle and Alex that they wanted to join us rather than the safari they had booked!!

We also let Jerome and Bobby (camp manager) know how great we thought Alex and his vehicle was! The whole experience was beyond my wildest dreams! Andrew had been on safari to Kenya before and he also commented on how great our safari was this time. We both intend to visit Kenya again and AfricanMecca will be the top of my list and I will be certainly recommending you to friends – especially Satao Camp! I have included some photographers we took of our stay and hope you enjoy them as much as we will. They are a superb reminder of the fabulous time we had in Kenya and we will be amazing our friends with them soon!! Thank you all once again for making it so special!
