Your Company Provided A Superior Safari Experience
Dear Raza,
I had planned to call your Nairobi office before leaving Africa to express my appreciation for the excellent service we received while we were on safari, but time just ran out. Our guides were readily seen at the airports and border crossings and helpful with luggage and hotel check in. They were very knowledgeable regarding the country itself, the plants and the animals. They were courteous at all times, and we felt we developed a bond with them.
Jimmy in Tanzania was prompt for pick up and return to hotel for dinner. We enjoyed his commentary in the Ngorongoro Crater and along the way to the Namanga border crossing. He is an excellent guide. Phanuel Obama was even better than Jimmy. He is passionate about his job and enjoys sharing that passion with those in his vehicle. His continuous study of the wildlife, insects and plants provided us with hours of entertainment and information. We particularly enjoyed his data on elephants and lions.
When we returned to the lodges in the evenings and mingled with other guests, we discovered how little information others received. We were educating them based on Phanuel’s teaching! When we met our larger group for a Christian mission project and then went on safari in the Masai Mara, we found ourselves sharing Phanuel’s information because our driver gave us almost nothing. We cannot recommend him highly enough. He gave us the experience of a lifetime.
As it worked out, The Plantation Lodge in Ngorongoro, was a wonderful choice. The spacious rooms were beautifully decorated; the staff was quite friendly and the food comparable to a 4-star restaurant. They raise their own fruit and vegetables on the property, and the coffee and tea are from plantations nearby – can’t find any fresher ingredients than that. All things considered, your company provided a superior safari experience which we would recommend to anyone. Thank you,
