Superb Safari Trip To Kenya’s Masai Mara, Amboseli & Tsavo
Quick note of thanks for everything. Trip was superb, a rare opportunity in that with all the reported turmoil and cancelations we felt like we got to see Kenya circa 1960’s. There were no tourists which translated to more service, better accommodations, limited number of vehicles if any on an animal and everyone could not have been happier to see us. I don’t think we would ever be able to see the Masai Mara, Amboseli, or Tsavo with so little traffic ever again.
To any of your clients thinking of canceling I can only say don’t. There is not a hint of problems and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to see these parks and conservancies as though they are your private reserve. Of particular mention we would say that staff overall made the trip a special memory. They have lost an entire season yet remain optimistic about the future. Everyone worked especially hard to make our visit the best it could be. Of particular mention, Darlene our transfer person from Nairobi, Mohammad & Joseph at Shompole (night drive and sundowner), Mwoises and Cosmos at Il Moran, Kitamues and Hobit (at Elerai) who made a memorable sundowner and Diwann our driver at Elerai who found the 10 hour old baby elephant with his mother as she taught him to walk.
Please pass on our kindest thanks to their management. Without their warm attentions the trip would not have been the same by any measure. I am certain there were many behind the scene folk as well. And of course thanks to you and your crew at AfricanMecca for such a good job. It was the right mix and pacing all around including the balloon and Tamarind Dhow Cruise.
