I Will Recommend Your Company To Anyone I Know Traveling To Kenya

Dear Raza and company,

Its difficult to know where to begin, my head is still spinning! I cannot tell you how perfect all of the planning and arrangements were throughout our travels. As you know, our itinerary was complicated with so many destination points related to my daughter’s semester in Kenya, and our wanting to spend time with all of her host families.

Raza, you juggled all of this perfectly! Everything worked, never a catch. The accommodations were superb! I was trying to save some money, requesting less costly stays; Raza you wouldn’t budge about the safety and quality of the accommodations you were recommending and that you knew we would be satisfied at each, and you were right-on every time.

John our guide was very sweet, thoughtful and so knowledgeable. He was a mature man with friends everywhere. He was very down to earth, was very funny and did an amazing job often going way out of his way to find as many animals as possible. We so appreciated being with him our first 4 days. He also was always so prompt, never a minute late, really amazing.

The Town Lodge was tremendous. Great, safe location, very clean, and the staff were angels. As you know we returned there at 3 different times thru the trip, and felt like we were coming home each time. They even held our big suitcases so we could travel with backpacks only for the second half of our journey, as we had to rely on matatus and motorcycle rides into the countryside. We could never have done that with suitcases.

The air accommodations between visiting points were great. easy times to travel by, with great travel times that made sense in the rhythm of a day. The Indian Ocean Beach Resort and Lamu Palace (we had flower petals arranged in a delicate pattern on our beds when we arrived) were awesome stays, really quite exotic, with again wonderful people, in great locations, I felt like I was in the movie Casablanca. I had to call midway through and appreciated your call back, Raza, where you had to arrange to cancel transportation we didn’t need— as my daughter had arranged for her host brother to pick us up (and I had not known about that).

I will recommend your company to anyone I know traveling to Kenya. Raza, after talking with you, I felt that you were a very honest person. Knowing that you were from Mombasa and that you continue to be home half of every year, I also understood that you really knew what you were talking about — as this was your home. You expertly balanced a very special trip that my daughter and I will never forget– we had precious days together, visited with some of the most beautiful people I will ever meet in this lifetime, while having great adventures and experiencing the complexity, difficulties and glorious beauty that is Kenya.
