Would Definitely Recommend Kenya As Holiday Destination

Firstly, may I thank you for your help and patience during the booking. I appreciated the advice given and the help I received from yourself. Regarding Tiwi – we had a super time there. The hotel has since the beginning of the year been under new management as you know. The new owner is making very good progress with improvements within the hotel. On one occasion the water pump broke and left the hotel with no water for a day, however, it was repaired and they are hopefully installing a new pump. A few minor technical difficulties like this were experienced, but nothing major.
The staff were very helpful and efficient in almost all cases. The food was varied, maybe limited in variety for children, however as an all inclusive guest, we were able to book the other restaurants on site. The animation team were super. I would highly recommend this aspect of the hotel. There was a good variety of activities for the children, both in and out of the water, and because we were not really leaving the complex, the kids all became friends with the other kids as well as the animation team staff.
The beach was beautiful, and the water warm, so we did not do any exploring of the rest of the coast, as we were there to relax, for 1 week having spent the first week in Kitale and then the Masai Mara. I would definitely recommend Kenya as a holiday destination and hope to visit your country in the future – maybe next time to see the Wildebeest migration!
