Most Grateful For A Truly Memorable Holiday Of A Lifetime

We returned today from our long awaited trip and had a simply marvellous time. thanks to everyone there. The hotel Jacaranda in Nairobi was perfect and my husband will use it again in future for his business trips. The staff were helpful and the hotel very accommodating. Our flight up and the stay at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge was brilliant. The children were thrilled with the animals of which we saw hundreds and although it rained every day, we had a marvellous driver who showed us so much. Again the staff were most friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us enjoy our stay.
We loved the accommodation and the outlook from our rooms. We would recommend it to anyone. We visited several other lodges whilst there, and much preferred the Serena. Lamu was fabulous. hot and sunny and we again were delighted with our accommodation (Kijani). Again, we visited the other ones I had shown an interest in which were fully booked, and we again we pleased with our choice above the other ones. We would definitely go there again. The children went back to London and we continued to Mount Kenya Safari Club. None of the modernization has begun yet, so we need not have worried.
Our cottage suite was lovely and again the Kenyan people are so friendly and helpful in every way. The club, although very old fashioned (hence the refurb.) was in a stunning setting and for a few quiet last days, suited us perfectly. Thank you for all you arranged over these last few months. Everything was run smoothly and without any hitches and we are most grateful for a truly memorable holiday of a lifetime. You organised everything efficiently which made life so easy for us. Darleen was charming and most helpful and we were sorry not to see her again after Christmas day to say Goodbye. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.
