We have been blessed to experience many wonderful vacations but this trip was by far the best vacation we have ever had! Raza’s (AfricanMecca Safaris and Tours) close collaboration in the early trip planning stages with us was evident throughout the trip. Raza’s ability to match our desires with the ideal guide, locations, and places to stay was particularly noteworthy.
Raza promptly answered all of our emails (we had many) and we never felt like we were being a burden. The accommodations were outstanding and the services provided at each and every lodging were superb. Suffice it to say that Raza was right–each area and accommodations we visited was unique and so each experience was memorable.
One aspect of the vacation that truly made it perfect for us was our guide, Omary. He always met us with a bright enthusiastic smile in the morning and provided information at the end of the day for the following day’s activities. Professional, experienced, timely, knowledgeable, considerate, and patient are all adjectives to describe this “exceptional guide”.
His thoughtfulness and etiquette during the different points in the trip, combined with his calm, thoughtful, and kind demeanor truly was instrumental to the vacation being such a wonderful experience. In sum, Omary was the perfect guide for us and his willingness to go the extra mile to find a particular animal or ability to find the perfect angle for camera shot to maximize our enjoyment was evident throughout the trip and we are truly beholding to him for his efforts in making this an experience of a life-time.
We highly recommend AfricanMecca Safaris and Tours for other would be travelers, and if we are ever blessed to return to Africa, we would definitely use this wonderful tour company.
