Zanzibar - Climate

Zanzibar can be visited all year round. Due to its location, Zanzibar experiences a warm tropical climate. The average temperature is 25 degree Celsius but it can get as high as 39 degrees Celsius (although rarely). February is the warmest while August is the coolest. There are two rainfall seasons, the longest and the heaviest rains occurring between March and June, and the short rains in September to November. Rainfall in Zanzibar takes form of sharp showers in the morning or afternoon, followed by return of sunshine.
