Drinking Water - Africa
Water is normally chlorinated and relatively safe. However, being new to the environment, we suggest bottled or boiled water throughout your stay. All hotel and lodges that AfricanMecca promotes provide a flask containing boiled water or bottled water for your added comfort either as complimentary or for sale. We recommend purchasing bottled water in stores in Africa prior to the start of your safari or tour. Bottled water sold at the hotels has a price markup due to transportation costs incurred. Your AfricanMecca guide will be more than glad to stopover at a grocery store for your bottled water purchase.
